This autumn we will be holding a two-day workshop and meeting during the last week in October focused on ageing and the application of bioinformatic and genomic technologies to the study of ageing and longevity. Thanks to generous funding from the Wellcome Trust the workshop is free, but please register by October 20th. There will also be a few slots for selected talks, so abstract submissions are welcomed (deadline October 10th).

There will be a one-day scientific meeting (October 26) plus half a day of training sessions (October 27) on applying bioinformatics to ageing, in particular using the Human Ageing Genomic Resources, but other topics like gene expression profiling will be discussed. The meeting will take place in Liverpool, UK. The exact venue and final programme will be announced after the abstract submission deadline.

We have confirmed speakers Professor Richard Faragher, Professor David Gems and Dr. Joao Pedro Magalhães all giving talks.
